Building with Bell River Homes

We want the process of design, colour selection & construction to be a pleasure. So what are the steps involved? Here is a brief overview… 

Select a Design The first step in the process is to select a plan from our extensive range of more than 60 architect developed country or urban designs. These homes are all developed to take maximum advantage of northern aspect, and can be easily mirror reversed for different block sitings. Alternatively, one of our consultants can assist you to develop your own original plans or ideas.

Develop your own style To get the layout, look & feel of your design just right, you can mark-up any modifications or options such as plan changes, facade styles or inclusions options. If you need help with this process, our consultants are always on-hand for advice.

Presentation of Quotation Once these steps have been completed, our consultant will provide you with a full written quotation. If you decide to go ahead, you will then be required to sign a contract, therefore entering into a purchase agreement.

Drafting & Council Submission Your customised plans and all required documentation will now be produced ready for submission to council. This process can take between 3-7 weeks depending on your location, the specific local council requirements and the design of the home you wish to build.

Colour Selection You will now have the exciting task of colour selection! We have mobile colour displays and can come to you, or if you prefer you can visit our new colour selection centre where you will be hosted by a qualified colour consultant. This will allow you to select all the colours, fixtures & fittings for you new home, ranging from paint & tiles to kitchen colours & finishes. 

Construction Once the colours & applications are approved, we can proceed with the construction of your new home. This can take between 16-24 weeks depending on the home style and size. The very last step in our construction process is to have your new home professionally cleaned - ready for you to simply pick up the keys and move in!
